Sadly some of these posters make a lot of the supporting base for the movement to hide in the shadows. they will not associate with the provocative anger (with righteous anger-yes - but not the expressions of violence). Why? because the MSM and the liberal administration will easily paint them as dangerous radicals. Already you hear of the government and the press calling for the leaders of these protests to be placed on "watch lists" .. as dangerous subversives. The liberal MSM people control the image. If the exact same signs and anger were shown toward Bush or Cheney or McCain - the people were painted as patriots and heroes. This becomes a dilemma for conservatives who wish to protest the government. They must take the high road in their protest. The wide swath of moderates in the nation who seem to "know something is not right" are NOT willing to have themselves identified with "radical subversives". And that is exactly why the Administration and the Mainstream Media are working hard to shape an image of the tax protesters as dangerous people.It is sad that the American Press has decided to help the administration achieve its goals by restricting freedom of expression.

Why are the Republicans not using the term "the previous congress" (mentioned 56,000 times) as much as possible to let the blame fall were it really belongs ... ESPECIALLY the ones who pushed financial institutions HARD to provide mortgages without protection. Thus we have a world financial crisis and who gets the blame? "The Previous Administration". (Pelosi, Obama, Dodd, Franks ... hugely at fault and now in complete control).

Here in the NY Times we have one more long diatribe about the "evils" of the "Bush" administration. You will NEVER see the NY Times dig for the truth about who stabbed America's poor in the back (and the middle class) by pushing the financial institutions to sell mortgages people could not afford. This was a purely liberal Democrat (people now in charge) initiative that was weakly opposed by the Bush administration and his one vote margin congress - later his minority congress. As it turns out - NOW the people who CAUSED the worldwide meltdown in financials - destroying the future of the world's poor and middle class - are now in CHARGE of fixing it. Their solution? More of the same!! Free housing (mortgages without hope of repayment) was not enough - now they are printing TRILLIONS of dollars to freely toss around in hopes of a "stimulus". The inflation it causes will further imprison Americas poor and will for decades delay a recovery by the middle class. The rich? They can be overtly taxed. The inflation and carbon taxation to come is a covert tax on the poor and middle class whom the liberal Democrats would never admit to. Resulting high prices on all goods and services will slam the poor hard. But the press will blame capitalists who try to price to adjust for the inflation as the culprits. The liberal Democrats will walk away with their high finance supporters, pockets full of cash while the poor are doomed and blaming Republicans. It is a masterful plan -- for them.

CAP and TRADE - how to tax the poor
While mouthing the populist mantra to "tax the rich" even MORE while over 50 percent of voters actually pay ZERO taxes - the Democrats have (as usual) found a way to stealth tax the middle class and poor.
The cap and trade tax is an automatic taxation of the poor and middle class based on whatEVER they consume. It will make them on average about $3100 poorer .. and here is the great part !! -- They will have no clue the pain is coming from the government. They will only see increased utility and gasoline bills and will blame THE MEAN OLD OIL AND UTILITY COMPANIES! It is a perfect Democrat tax.
The other stealth tax on the poor and middle class will come in the form of inflation. By dumping treasury cash into the economy - the government is feeding massive future inflation. That future inflation is the delayed TAX the poor and middle class will pay (along with the unpopular rich) and again the people losing the most buying power (the poor) will not have a clue the cause is the Democrat policy. They will see rising prices on all they buy as the fault of mean old capitalists stealing from them - not the policies of Democrats who printed too many dollars.
In a spiraling frenzy of "helping the middle class and poor" the Democrats will continue to OVERTLY tax the rich and COVERTLY tax the poor and middle class to keep the "masses" from taking to the streets.
