SEVENTEEN WAYS TO BE A GOOD LIBERAL
SEVENTEEN WAYS TO BE A GOOD LIBERAL 1. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand. 2. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity. 3. You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens are more of a threat than nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Iran, China and North Korea. 4. You have to believe that there was no art before federal funding. 5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical changes in the earth's climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUVs. 6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial, but being homosexual is natural. 7. You have to believe that the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of federal funding. 8. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th-graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex. 9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but PETA activists do. 10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it. 11. You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution. 12. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high. 13. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria
Steinem are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, or Abraham Lincoln. 14. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides are not. 15. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge. 16. You have to
believe that homosexual parades displaying drag queens and transvestites should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes at Christmas should be illegal. 17. You have to believe that this list is a part of a vast, right-wing conspiracy.

Weird America :- The Funny Farm -:
Deep in the heart of Oregon lies a magical land of... stuff. All this stuff has been transformed into yard art on a massive scale, and is on display for all to experience. The Funny Farm (or as the owners refer to it, Farm Funny The) is a labor-of-love by two artist/antique dealers named Mike and Gene. The BOWLING BALL GARDENS, BOWLING BALL TREE, YELLOW BRICK ROAD, ELECTRIC KALEIDOSCOPE and LOVE POND are but a few attractions to enjoy. In Country with Uncle Vic stumbles on a great hidden treasure now and again too. Check back occasionally. By the way - y0u might enjoy this site - TRUE STORIES.
Weird America :- The Poubelle Twins -:
Somewhere overseas from Paris live The Poubelle Twins. Filmmakers, performance artists and professional wrestlers, these versatile former Siamese twins beat down the competition with sheer French Maid girth, weight and sex. They also do private performances and never perspire.

Ruthabell's Store In Munson Florida
The family store is still thriving in the back-country. Here at Ruthabells, you'll find people who enjoy their work and their lives. Go ahead - pass right by that little country store. You might just miss the highlight of your day. Bobby McCranie runs the store with his wife, Dianne, from Virginia, whom he found on the internet. Mike, the chef for the deli came from the internet too (Colorado). Delphine, the older sister helps out from her motorized wheel chair and adds a new level to the art of conversation. Technology and 'down home' ... all in one place. Take THAT, Starbucks!! Stock recommendations from Uncle Vic - based on this episode: Pepsi (PBG) and MasterCard(MA). and Yahoo (YHOO). More Pictures.

NOW - about a year later .. look at the investment chart. Top to bottom are MA, PBG, YHOO.
If you had invested in all 3 THEN - it woud have been a bumpy ride for all but MA but regardless the average gain by FEB 2008 holding the same amount of each - you woud be up about 45 percent!!
